The BL-2s brushless power system delivers more speed, faster acceleration, and virtually maintenance-free operation at an affordable price. Drivers experience smooth, effortless power with added punch for tire-shredding burnouts and blazing fast speed. Optimized for 7-cell NiMH and 2s LiPo batteries, the BL-2s delivers all-day fun, battery after battery.
BL-2s Brushless Motor
The sensorless BL-2s 3300 kV motor delivers the all-day speed and torque you expect from brushless technology, without the high price tag. With no brushes to wear out, the BL-2s is long-lasting and virtually maintenance free. Low-friction ball bearings and an integrated cooling fan open the door to all-day fun.

BL-2s Brushless Electronic Speed Control
The waterproof BL-2s speed control delivers all the benefits of brushless technology with the safety and convenience features you expect from Traxxas. Built-in low-voltage detection, thermal shutdown protection, and EZ-Set one button programming make BL-2s reliable and easy to operate.
BL-2s ESC Features:
- Fully waterproof
- Built-in two-stage low voltage detection for lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries
- NiMH battery packs 6-7 cells (7.2 – 8.4 V) or 2-cell LiPo battery packs (7.4 V)
- Patented Training Mode reduces the power output by 50% for new or younger drivers. When they’re ready, simply change profiles to unleash full-throttle action.
- EZ-Set one-button setup operates and programs just like other Traxxas speed controls
- Three programmable drive profiles:
- Sport ModeFwd / Brake / Rev
- Race ModeFwd / Brake
- Training Mode 50% Fwd / Brake / 50% Rev
- Multi-color status LED
- Two-stage thermal shutdown protection protects the BL-2s from overheating
- Large aluminum heatsink dissipates heat
- Built-in auxiliary fan output

Integrated Cooling Fan
With no brushes to wear out, the BL-2s brushless motor delivers long-term fun with very low maintenance. An integrated fan pulls cooling air through the motor for all-day running without slowing down.
Quick Connect Motor Plug
The Traxxas Quick Connect Motor Plug delivers free-flowing power from the ESC to the motor. The specially-keyed design aligns the plug in the correct orientation every time.
